Designing a bungalow interior requires balancing openness with defined functional zones. The project involved organising larger spaces efficiently while maintaining visual continuity, along with integrating storage, lighting, and material transitions across different areas of the home.
Project Overview
This residential interior project in Pune was developed as a complete interior solution for a standalone bungalow. The design approach focuses on creating a cohesive and practical living environment while maintaining a clean and contemporary visual language.
The spatial planning emphasises clear transitions between living, dining, and private areas, allowing each space to function independently while remaining visually connected. Larger volumes within the home are structured through furniture placement, ceiling design, and wall treatments to create a sense of proportion and organisation.
Material selection follows a neutral and warm palette, combining wood finishes, light-toned surfaces, and subtle textures. This helps maintain a balanced interior atmosphere while ensuring durability and ease of maintenance for everyday use.
The Modular kitchen design layout is for efficiency, with a U-shaped configuration that maximises counter space and storage. Finishes and fittings are selected to support long-term usability while maintaining visual consistency with the rest of the home.
In the living areas, wall panelling and integrated storage elements are used to organise the space without adding visual clutter. Lighting is layered through ceiling details and recessed fixtures, supporting both functional use and ambient comfort.
Outdoor areas, including the entrance and driveway, are designed with a combination of hardscape and landscape elements, creating a structured yet natural transition into the home.
The completed project reflects a practical and composed approach, where planning, material selection, and execution come together to support everyday residential living.
